Value

This photograph demonstrates value because the differences of the colors. The gradual differences of whites and darks is what makes the value in the shot. The very dark black background is much darker then the shadows on the shirts or in the folds. and the grey sky is much darker then the whites of the shirts.

color

The color in this shot is obvious. The colors are not natural to the shot but the blue, green, and orange colors added the the photograph add color to the black and white.

space

This shot has a lot of space. The window is the focus of the picture, but because it is all the way on the right of the photograph there is a large amount of space to the left. most of the space is blank but it gives the shot a different feel then if the photographer were to crop out the extra space.

shape

This is a good demonstration of shape because each part of the picture is separated by a uniform amount of space on each side. Each part of the picture is the same shape as each other part of the picture, being well defined shapes.

line

The picture is good example of line because the lines across the snow are well defined. This picture almost looks like a painting because of the lines. They all go horizontally across the photo.

texture

I love the texture in this photograph because there are a lot of different things that you can "feel". The ground, the tree, and the vines all have a different texture to them. The ground is much rougher then the tree and vines, but the tree is rougher then the vines which seem smooth almost.
