I think my project on light as subject matter came out good. During the critique it was pointed out to me that just because light played a role in the picture doesn't mean that the light is the subject matter for the photo. I gained a lot of knowledge just from that first assignment. If I did the picture again I think I would focus more on the light then I did the first time.
The picture that I took came out much better then I thought I would be able to take and made me more interested in photography. My favorite thing about my photo was the lighting and how meaningful it seems. My least favorite thing about my picture is the issues that were caused by mounting it. Some of the photo was ruined by my fingerprints when I was trying to mount the picture on the paper. For my next picture I'm going to try much harder mounting it for a better finished product.
